This seal will be found at the end of the cooling pipe that runs across the front of the engine block on a 2.0 4 cylinder VW engine. & This seal sits in a groove at the end of the metal pipe and is pushed into a hole in the engine block. & The hole this pipe fits into can be found near the water pump.
