This upgrade kit allows you to retrofit genuine MK3 Audi TTS 4-piston fixed front brake calipers onto vehicles equipped with factory 340mm front brake rotors and single-piston sliding calipers. It is a direct bolt-on upgrade for MQB vehicles using aluminum front steering knuckles, including MK7 GTI Performance Pack, MK7 Golf R, and Audi S3.
Upgrading to the Audi TTS 4-piston calipers provides increased clamping force and more consistent pad pressure across the rotor face, resulting in improved braking performance without the need to step up to larger rotors. This makes it an excellent alternative to traditional big brake kits at a fraction of the cost.
In addition to improved stopping power, the fixed 4-piston TTS calipers are lighter than the factory single-piston caliper and carrier assembly. Reduced unsprung weight improves steering response, suspension control, and overall handling.
