I bought this kit due to one of my hpfp bolts actually breaking off in the cover. So I am very happy that I no longer should have to worry about taking those studs out again to maintenance the cam follower. The few downfalls of the kit are based around my reinstallation process. I had a heck of a time getting the pump onto the studs with the limited space around all the hoses and fuel lines. Oncei did get it onto the studs, I had to remove the threaded fuel fitting from the bottom of the pump just to get the rubber fuel line on the ribbed fitting. The next issue I ran into was tightening down on the nut/studs. I could get a 10mm socket on the top two nuts, but the one by the pressure release got my 10mm stuck and I had to use a wrench for most the time. I am not sure if my cam was at the high point but it was putting up allot of pressure and one of the studs started to strip when tightening. So then had to apply pressure to the pump so that the nut could grab newer threads without all the tention. This is worrisome as I home that over time it does not strip the thread off the studs. Finally had it all back together with no leaks after a ride around the block. I hope this is helpful for others that are looking for this kit for there Golf R. Thanks.

Why hassle around with the OEM bolts that always strip when you can just use this? It is so much easier to do a cam follower change. Thanks Paul!

I did not know if my CF was worn and read about the threads getting damaged from periodic removal of hpfp to check the CF. Installed this kit with no issues. Comes with everything except thread locker :p.

The studs are very close to the hpfp housing, but you can still get a 10mm socket on there so tightening and loosening was easy.
