Triple square drives, also known as multi hex bits are a common european car fastener. This drive type is great, but has one major downside. Triple square bits can only engage with the fastener at a 90° angle. Ball end triple square bits allow a variery of approach angles. This means that hard to reach triple square bolts will be much easier to access with this set if 6 ball end triple square bits.
Since these triple square bits were specifically designed to be used in hard to reach spaces, the drive types used on them is intentionally small. This will ensure the drive portion doesnt prevent access due to clearance issues.
