The Haldex AWD system on your VW or Audi is not a full-time all-wheel drive system — by default it operates reactively, sending power to the rear only when slip is detected. This plug-and-play Haldex Controller lets you take full control of that behavior, customizing exactly how and when your AWD system engages. Whether you're chasing lap times, launching at the drag strip, or just want a more predictable AWD feel on the street, this controller gives you the flexibility to tune it exactly how you want.
Control is handled entirely through a free smartphone app over Bluetooth — no laptop required. Connect with pincode 1234 on first startup, select your Haldex Controller from the device list, and it will be saved for all future sessions.
Available Modes
Mode
Description
Stock / Passthru
All signals pass through to the Haldex as normal. The app displays current Haldex power in real time.
Lock Mode
Set a fixed front/rear power split via the app. Adjustable in 10% increments from 100/0 to 50/50.
Throttle Map
Haldex engagement is mapped to throttle position in 10% increments — more throttle, more rear drive.
Speed Map
Haldex engagement is mapped to vehicle speed in 20 km/h increments.
Boost Map
Haldex engagement is mapped to boost pressure in 100 mBar (1.45 psi) steps.
Throttle + Speed Map
Combined map using both throttle position and vehicle speed signals for more refined control.
Haldex Off
Disables the Haldex entirely. Useful for dyno runs, burnouts to heat tires at the drag strip, or maximizing fuel economy.
