G-Loc GS-1 Street Brake Pads
The G-Loc GS-1 compound is a high-performance street pad engineered for low dust, minimal noise, and excellent initial bite. GS-1 delivers strong and consistent braking torque across normal street temperatures while remaining extremely rotor-friendly and long-lasting. This compound provides confident stopping power without excessive ABS activation and is well suited for daily-driven vehicles.
Operating temperature range: ambient to 800°F (426°C). GS-1 is designed exclusively for street use and is not recommended for track driving.
Girodisc Two-Piece Front Rotors (340×30mm)
Girodisc two-piece front rotors are a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory discs and are fully compatible with OEM calipers. This upgrade maintains factory brake bias while improving thermal performance and reducing both rotational and unsprung weight.
Compared to the factory rotors, Girodisc units weigh approximately 19.1 lbs versus 23.6 lbs stock. The reduction in mass improves suspension response, steering feel, and acceleration.
Each rotor features a U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum hat paired with Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron friction ring. The curved internal vane design promotes efficient airflow through the rotor, improving cooling under repeated braking.
The floating hardware system allows for controlled axial and radial movement, reducing stress, minimizing cracking, and allowing the rotor to self-center between the pads. Anti-noise spring washers are used to eliminate rattle during street driving while still allowing thermal expansion.
Replacement friction rings are available separately when service is required.
