We all know that while plastic oil pans are reasonable for most people, they will not hold up to a beating. This Steel Oil Pan kit is perfect if you car is lowered, or even if you just want to peace of mind that remove that plastic brittle pan give you. Replace the plastic oil pan on your MK7 2.0t or 1.8t with this steel oil pan assembly.
* note if your oil level sensor seal leaks post install do not continue to tighten down the nuts past the torque spec. If this is the case you should consider replacing the seal and repositioning the sensor to ensure its properly centered. If you continue to tighten those nuts past torque spec the studs will break.
