Early Gen 3 Spool Valve / Oil Control Valve Removal Tool (T10352/2) – 1.8T & 2.0T (2014–2017)

This special tool is designed to remove the oil control valve (spool valve) for the variable valve timing (VVT) system, located at the end of the intake camshaft on EA888 Gen 3 engines.

Use of this tool is required when servicing the cam bridge, camshaft, cylinder head, or timing chain system, as it allows for proper removal of the valve without damage.

This socket is most commonly used on early production 3rd Generation 1.8T and 2.0T TSI engines found in MQB (MK7) platform vehicles.

There are multiple versions of this tool that appear very similar but differ in pin offset. Always verify the spool valve part number and style before purchase to ensure correct fitment.
