On my 2016 GTI, I have selectable gauges that can be displayed on the center console display. The data on those gauges is rather suspect however. Boost readings of 33psi on a stock GTI?!? Coolant temps that _always_ read 194 degrees after the car has warmed up?!? Fortunately the OBD2 data that this gauge displays is the actual data and is simple to access. I'm seeing proper vacuum and boost levels now, plus real coolant temps that vary.

This gauge's red & white lighting is a great match for the MK7 GTI which gives it an OEM look. FWIW, there is a different gauge for the MK7 R (white/blue)

The only installation issue is where to connect the (optional) green dimmer wire. It can been seen (albeit blurry) connected via a scotchlok connector in Paul's install video (@16:08), but he doesn't discuss the connection and the wire color. It would be nice to add that info to this page, even it the connection is optional.
