  • 1 Gallon of Concentrated Coolant (Genuine VW/Audi) –Mix 50/50 w/ water
  • Intake Manifold Gasket (Genuine VW/Audi) –Most users remove the intake to access the water pump

 

Common Symptoms of a Failing MK7 Water Pump or Thermostat Assembly

  • Coolant Leaks: Small puddles under the engine towards the front of the engine bay area.
  • Low Coolant Warnings: Lights on dash caused by low coolant levels.
  • Overheating: Rare, but possible if coolant levels drop significantly.
  • Engine Fault Code: P00B7: Low coolant flow/performance - uncommon
