Upgrade your 1.8T MQB with the IS20 Turbo Upgrade Kit, featuring the OEM IHI IS20 turbocharger found on the MK7 GTI. This kit transforms your Golf, SportWagen, Alltrack, or Audi A3 by delivering a substantial bump in power and performance while retaining OEM drivability and reliability.

To make installation seamless, this package also includes a complete turbo installation gasket & seal kit — all the OEM hardware, studs, and seals you need for proper fitment and leak-free operation. No guesswork, no searching for individual parts.

Why Upgrade?

The factory IS12 turbo on the 1.8T runs out of headroom quickly when tuned. The IS20 provides significantly more airflow, supporting higher boost levels and horsepower figures while still maintaining OEM spool characteristics. Paired with the correct ECU tune, this upgrade unlocks true GTI-level performance in your 1.8T MQB.

Note: The IS20 turbocharger is factory equipment on the MK7 GTI (2.0T). This kit is designed specifically as an upgrade for 1.8T MQB models that were not originally equipped with the IS20.
