ABOUT THE BRAND

Girodisc

Two piece floating brake rotors are what Girodisc builds, pairing a cast iron friction ring with a machined aluminum hat joined by float hardware. The design cuts rotating weight and lets the ring expand under heat, which helps on track driven VW and Audi cars. The company is US based and also sells replacement rings so the hats can be reused.
