This part is found inside the drivers front door and retains the lock cylinder in the drivers door. This includes the torx screw used to loosen the lock cylinder for removal. Please note the retention part for the lock cylinder is spring loaded and if the torx screw is backed out too far it will release the spring and this part will need to be replaced.
For MK5 4 Door Models this is used for Both Front and Rear Doors
