When you begin modifying your 2.0t it will become necessary to upgrade the intercooler. Since the factory unit was only designed to support stock power levels, it will be unable to support the increased output from performance modifications. Once upgrades such as ECU tuning, exhaust systems, and big turbo kits are introduced, intake air temperatures begin to rise, resulting in drastic power losses.
