A/C Evaporator Core w/ Expansion Valve

A/C evaporator core with pre-installed expansion valve. This unit is mounted inside the HVAC box and is responsible for absorbing heat from the cabin air as part of the air conditioning system.

This is an OEM-style replacement evaporator assembly used on many MQB-based VW and Audi models equipped with automatic climate control and a conventional A/C system (no heat pump). The expansion valve is integrated with the core, just like the original factory design, for proper refrigerant flow and cooling performance.

Installation Notes:

• Dashboard/HVAC box removal is typically required to access the evaporator core.
