Front Track Brake Kit (StopTech / G-LOC R12) | MK7 GTI (Non-Performance Pack)

This front brake kit is designed for MK7 GTI models equipped with the factory 312mm front brakes (Non-Performance Pack). It combines StopTech slotted front rotors with G-LOC R12 track brake pads for high-temperature, high-demand track driving applications.

The G-LOC R12 compound offers excellent initial bite, high and consistent torque, and strong fade resistance, making it well-suited for aggressive track use and extended sessions. Compared to R10, R12 provides increased friction and thermal capacity while maintaining predictable release and modulation.

Due to increased noise and brake dust, G-LOC R12 pads are not recommended for daily street driving.

• G-LOC R12 front brake pads (312mm application)
• StopTech 312mm slotted front rotor – left (driver side)
• StopTech 312mm slotted front rotor – right (passenger side)

Brake Pad Compound Details

• Compound: G-LOC R12
• Operating temperature range: 173°F to 1860°F (78°C to 1015°C)
• High initial bite and consistent torque output
• Excellent fade resistance for track use
• More aggressive than R10, but rotor-friendly compared to many competitors
