At the heart of our MK3 1.8T intercooler kit lies an all aluminum, bar and plate fin style core offering a dramatic amount of surface area for superior cooling. The core measures 8" x 6" x 6.5" and is expertly welded for long lasting durability. The 1.8T MK3 SMIC installs quickly using factory mounting points for an OEM like fit.
All our piping is jigged and welded in house to ensure the highest level of fit and finish. We take quality control very seriously and by producing our plumbing here at our shop we can keep a watchful eye on the entire process. Constructed from stainless steel and delivered in a raw finish, this tubing will never rust and will stand the test of time. Each end is carefully bead rolled to prevent boost leaks.
Included are all necessary hose clamps, as well as high quality, multi-ply silicone couplers for making connections.
