We Build a Fast and the Furious VW Jetta with a MK7 GTI Drivetrain

We're taking this old Jetta and transforming it into a modern day Fast and Furious car. I've always had this idea of building a Fast and Furious-style Jetta, and now we're making it a reality.

To make this Jetta truly unique, we're going big. The VR6 engine gets swapped into VWs all the time, but we wanted to do something different. That's when we came across the idea of using the 2.0 T engine from the MK7 GTI. These engines are highly tunable, and we can easily get three to four hundred horsepower out of them. Paired with a DSG transmission, this car is going to be lightning fast in a quarter-mile.
