The 3.0t Supercharged Audi engines can have oil pressure circuit faults. This will often present itself as fault code, P164B - Oil Pressure Switch (F22) Malfunction. Usually this fault will also display "ENGINE MAX SPEED 4000RPMS" on the dash of your Audi. When this fault occurs you should ensure you have proper oil pressure. Once you have confirmed that you will likely need to replace your original Oil pressure switch (F22) with this updated purple one.
